PROJECT 1948 Dodge, D-24 Sedan
Welcome to my blog about my project 1948 Dodge D-24 sedan! I will be using this blog to house the updates, issues, concerns, areas of correction, the hunt, and other factors that I come across as I begin my relationship with this car. I hope you enjoy it and find it informative and fun!
Let's begin: This car was acquired from the original owner on April 29th, 2012, from Windham, NH. The car was purchased new in PA in 1948 by the current owner's father. It had been sitting for 9 years when I came across it. What I liked about this car was the fact that it was complete and relatively solid. A lot of other projects that I have been looking at were missing small stuff which is impossible to find or adds up quickly in cost!
The car was delivered to my garage on May 2nd, 2012, at 7:41pm. The following photos are of the car exactly as I originally saw it and as it was delivered to me. I hadn't touched the car prior to these photos:

The next series of photos to follow will be of the exterior cleaned. I began cleaning this on May 2nd. I'm absolutely amazed at how well it is cleaning up! Tons of elbow grease!!!
