Today we finished the wet sanding and began cutting the paint. It's really chewing up the pads and it will probably take a dozen or so to do the whole car!
We also removed the front seat so it could be reupholstered and also to see how bad the floor rust/rot was and what we are looking at in terms of a patch. Our friend Gary, is supposed to stop by tomorrow to asses the required welding repairs.
Nothing too cool found under the seat, only $0.35 dating to 1973 (oldest) and an insurance card from 1997. I did find a broken seat spring so that will need a replacement to allow the seat to be adjustable once again.
Just a little Fred Flintstone, nothing unexpected given the car's age.
